Each year, Court St. Jane Frances de Chantal #2699 prayerfully discerns over our Circle of Love program and establishes goals for each of our service projects.

Catholic Daughters are called to say YES and support the community with educational enrichment through annual scholarship contests and promoting literacy across Texas.
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
Catholic Daughters are called to say YES and support one another with emotional and spiritual kinship through shared values, beliefs, traditions, common experiences, activities and unconditional love. Families praying together, working together and playing together will fully encompass the Circle of Love Program.
If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8
Catholic Daughters are called to say YES and support members who have a desire to hold leadership roles within local, state and national CDA. Educational and training opportunities are available to support this leadership journey.

Catholic Daughters are called to say YES and to become better informed on public issues as they pertain to Church teachings on morality, human rights, justice and peace. Catholic Daughters of the Americas does not endorse candidates nor any political party.

Court St. Jane Frances de Chantal #2699 sponsors Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas (JCDA), an organization for girls ages 8 to 18. JCDA goals are to develop character as a Catholic, learn to work for the good of others, grow spiritually in their Catholic faith, and be creative and flexible.

Court #2699 volunteered at the Texas Association Healthcare Volunteers Convention as judges for various contests at Moody Gardens in Galveston.

Court #2699 held a special Rosary for Ukraine at St. Anthony of Padua. A handmade paper flower rosary was made by one of our Purple Sisters and in each yellow flower was a names of our Court #2699 members.

Court #2699 held a Day of Reflection Retreat. Court Chaplin Deacon Rick Vogel focused on God’s love for us, for God is love itself. He shared various types of ways we can love and illustrated how society minimizes love to a feeling. Deacon Rick covered the types of prayer, virtues, emotions, Discernment, the 7 deadly sins, and many more topics illustrating how the Holy Spirit uses reason to pull us toward God.

Court #2699 celebrated the Feast Day of our Court's Patron Saint - St. Jane Frances de Chantel. An evening filled with Sisterly Love at Gadela Winery owned by Deacon Franco Knoepffler.

Court #2699 donated a golf theme basket for the Deacon Mike Mims Memorial Golf Tournament silent auction. Proceeds for the tournament and silent auction went towards scholarships for students.
April 24-25, 2021
Court #2699 held a book donation drive for new/gently used books for Pre-K to 12 grade. Led by Kate de Kanter and her daughter, Christine, the book drive was in collaboration with Children's Books on Wheels whose mission is to distribute free books to the inner cities of Houston just in time for summer reading. We collected over 250 books to promote literacy across Texas!

District Deputy #8 Patsy Malburger donated over 10 boxes of books for Pre-K to 12 grade readers. Book Donation Drive was in collaboration with Children's Books on Wheels. Thank you, Patsy!

Court #2699 collaborated with Kolbe Prison Ministry and spent the afternoon at Angela House, a transition home for previously incarcerated women. The residents enjoyed creating their vision boards filled spiritual inspiration and enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch. After wonderful fellowship filled with lots of laughter, we concluded with gifting each of the residents with a beautiful Miraculous Medal.

Members spent the day volunteering at St. Anthony's Bread - Food Pantry preparing boxes and bags of food for distribution. We were able to server over 200 families. We are blessed our Food Pantry is well stocked thanks to our community who continues to donate food and supplies. Court #2699 will continue to volunteer quarterly.

Court #2699 presented St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with a $1,000.00 donation for the Our Lady of the Angels Chapel. We were able to raise money in 2020 in honor of our 5th Year Anniversary through various fundraising events. Our donation will go towards the Our Lady of the Angels coloring book that will outline all 27 Saint Relics that will be housed in the new chapel for children to enjoy and learn more about these beautiful Saints.
